Ethiopia YCFCU Adame Gorbota (12oz)

Adame Gorbota is a cooperative in the famous Gedo region of Ethiopia. Cooperative member farms are family run, small forested plots that also grow enset. Harvests are carefully processed on the cooperative property to bring out the best of the unique yet quintessential coffee that is grown there. 

The members of this cooperative (and all YCFCU cooperatives) elect their own executive committee which makes decisions about investments like new equipment and tree maintenance, but also creates plans for member social services, school support, public health, infrastructure, and how to structure payments to the coop members.

Liminal Brew Tasting Notes: Blueberry, brown sugar, milk chocolate 

Region: Wenago district, Gedeo Zone

Process: Fully washed and dried on raised beds

Cultivar: Local landraces and indigenous heirloom cultivars

Altitude: 1700-2000 masl 

All Liminal Brew coffee (unless otherwise stated) is roasted relatively light. We let the coffee develop a bit after first crack to best bring out the natural flavors within the coffee without over or under developing them.
